CALUMET — The Calumet Copper Kings girls basketball team defeated the Iron Mountain Mountaineers Tuesday night, 73-46.

Jess Anderson has 17 points to lead the Copper Kings.

Macy Linsenbigler had 22 points for the Mountaineers.

PANTHERS 40, GREMLINS 28

EWEN — The Houghton Gremlins girls basketball team struggled offensively in a 40-28 loss Tuesday night on the road against the Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers.

Bree Besonen led the Panthers with 19 points. Emma Besonen added 10.

Eva Gerard paced the Gremlins with 15 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
