HARBOR SPRINGS, Mich. — The Houghton Gremlins ski teams competed Tuesday at the Division 2 state finals Monday.

The boys team finished sixth overall.

In the slalom, Eli Heathman finished third after having the fastest second run at 32.12 seconds. Jack Haessler finished 14th after posting the 12th-best time in his second run.

Logan Niemi took 22nd, and Bray Rubin finished 26th.

In the giant slalom, Heathman finished 14th after struggling through his second run in 36.76 seconds. Haesseler took 25th, Rubin 26th, and Maciej Wawrzynowicz finished 42nd.

Rachel Sun finished 36th overall in the girls slalom. She also finished 55th in the giant slalom.
