MARQUETTE — The Houghton Gremlins boys finished second with 55 points at the Marquette Invite Tuesday at Marquette Mountain. Marquette took the title with 25 points. Ironwood was third with 112.

The Houghton boys were led by seniors Eli Heathman, Jack Haeussler, and Logan Niemi. Heathman was second in slalom and third in giant slalom. Haeussler took seventh in slalom and sixth in giant slalom. Niemi finished 10th in slalom and ninth in giant slalom.

Marquette’s Sam Dehlin won both the slalom and giant slalom.

The Houghton girls took fourth place behind Marquette, Norway, and Ironwood.

Lily Martineau finished ninth in the giant slalom. Marquette’s Estelle Dehlin won the slalom and giant slalom.
