HOUGHTON — The Michigan Tech Huskies hockey team is ranked No. 20 in this week’s USA Hockey/The Rink Live Men’s College Hockey Poll.

The Huskies are 6-2-0 overall and 4-0-0 in the CCHA and host No. 17 Minnesota State this weekend at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

Friday is Vollwerth’s Family Night and Saturday is Junior Hockey Night and Skate With the Huskies after the game.

The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. in the first of two meetings with the Mavericks this season. MSU is 8-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in CCHA action.

The 30th annual USA Hockey/The Rink Live Men’s College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey.
