JB’s Sales and Service can’t be stopped.

At least so far.

The team atop the Copper Country Women’s Fastpitch League stayed unbeaten with an 11-1 win against Superior Service on Monday.

JB’s Sales and Service answered a 1-0 first inning deficit with eight runs in the bottom of the first to take control early. Sadie Biekkola and Quinn Donnelly each singled twice for JB’s Sales and Service.

Josie Connors singled for Superior Service.

Stella Soumis took the win for JB’s Sales and Service, striking out five and walking one. Connors took the loss for Superior Service, striking out four and walking a pair.

The win keeps JB’s Sales and Service a game ahead of REL, Inc. (7-2), which also won an 18-3 rout against Tervo Agency.

Superior National Bank 8, Superior Service 4

Superior National Bank defeated Superior Service 8-4 in Copper Country Women’s Fastpitch League action Monday.

SNB (5-4) was led by Elisa Isaacson on the mound, who picked up the win. She struck out seven and walked one. Moyle struck out three and walked three.

Larissa Anderson led SNB with two singles.

Milly Loukus doubled and singled for Superior Service. Raili Therrian and Isabelle Cleary both doubled. Rena Kangas and Allia Heinonen each had two singles.

Reagan Moyle took the loss for Superior Service (2-6). Cleary also pitched for Superior Service and walked three.

REL, Inc. 18, Tervo Agency 3

Hannah Impola doubled with three singles for REL, Inc. Morgan Erkkila and Vera Peterson both doubled and singled.

Alana Nolan led Tervo Agency with a home run and single.

Peterson took the win for REL, Inc. Mel Baker took the loss for Tervo Agency.

Crush 21, Northern Michigan Land Brokers 2

Olivia Shank was the winning pitcher for Crush with six strikeouts. Blaire Impola took the loss for NMLB.

Becca Lyons led Crush with four singles. Keirstyn Codere singled three times.

Northern Michigan Land Brokers’ Blaire Impola singled three times.
