Zachary A. Saari

Nov. 21, 1995 - March 8, 2025

MANITOWOC, Wis. — Zachary A. Saari, 29, a resident of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and former Mohawk resident, passed away at his home in Manitowoc on Saturday, March 8, 2025.   

He was born on Nov. 21, 1995, in Hancock, a son of the Arthur and Ann Marie “Annie”(Kyllonen) Saari. Zach was raised in Champion and attended the Aspen Ridge Schools. He then moved with his family to Mohawk and graduated from Dollar Bay High School with the class of 2014.  

Following High School, Zachary worked locally for Walmart and Calumet Electronics. He then moved to Wisconsin and worked as a Machinist for Ace Machine in Appleton and currently for Stecher Machine Company in Manitowoc.

Mr. Saari had attended the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Hancock as a young adult while living locally.

Zachary enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, 4-wheeling, staying in touch with his friends while gaming online, and laughing and joking while visiting with his family and friends. 

Preceding him in death were his Paternal grandparents, his maternal grandparents and his uncle Robert Kyllonen.  

Surviving are: his furry companion: Orion; his parents: Arthur and Annie Saari of Mohawk; his siblings: Corey Saari of Manitowoc, Alex Saari of Spokane, WA , Derek (Heather) Saari of Calumet, Shane Saari of Mohawk, and Daria Saari of Mohawk; his niece: Deanna Saari; his nephew: Chayse Butkovich; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service for Zachary will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with Ronald Jouppe to officiate. Spring burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery of Calumet. Friends may call on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service – Hancock Chapel from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
