Lauren Kay (Anttila) Mukavetz, 74, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Jan. 14, 2025, in the company of her husband, son and daughter-in-law.
She was born July 20, 1950. She attended the Winona school, graduated from Jeffers and the NMU School of nursing.
She enjoyed walking to Twin Lakes Park where she and I met and started our path in life.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, companion and friend. She will be sorely missed by her husband, two sons, grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
