Judy Eskola

She was born on Aug. 15, 1944, in Detroit, a daughter of Otto and Hulda Hermanson. She grew up in Detroit and graduated from Henry Ford High School in 1962.

She married Richard Eskola in Detroit on December 14, 1963. The couple moved to Calumet in the fall of 1964.

She was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Fulton.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jon and a brother Ron.

Surviving are her husband; sons: Brent, of Calumet; Timothy (Mary Ellen), of Delano, Minnesota; Thomas, of Mohawk; Jeffrey (Holly), of Traprock Valley; Joseph (Kathryn), of Calumet; Mark (Heidi), of Howell; Daniel, of Traprock Valley; James (Amanda), of Liminga;

Stephen (Andrea), of Laurium; daughters: Maija-Liisa Eskola, of Mohawk; Brita (Hans) Haapala, of Fulton; Kristina (Frank) Anderson, of Liminga; Juliana (Daniel) Johnson, of Kearsarge; Katie (Keith) Lassila, of Laurium; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Ray) Halonen, and brother, Neil Hermanson, and many Christian friends.

A funeral service will be held at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 12 p.m. with Pastor Mark Halonen officiating, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
