Michael “Ski” Pavloski

CALUMET — Michael “Ski” Pavloski, age 63, a resident of Calumet, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at the Omega House located in Houghton, Michigan.
Michael was born in Bitburg, Germany on Nov. 9, 1961 to parents Michael and Darlene (Robus) Pavloski. He attended Calumet High School and graduated with the class of 1980. After High School he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1981-1985. During his time in the Marine Corps, he attended avionics school to train as a helicopter mechanic in Tennessee. After the Marine Corps Michael worked many different jobs throughout his life. He did mechanical and restorative work along with car transportation for local car dealers, he owned and operated M+D Superior Construction Company, he built and serviced laundry machines in LA, California, he did maintenance at the Delaware Mine, Copper Harbor, MI, worked at the Mont Ripley Ski Hill. He was the Manager at the Great Lakes Wild Woodland Gensing Farm until his retirement 7 years ago.
On May 21, 2003 Michael married Cheryl Lyn Brouillette. On Aug. 12, 2019 Cheryl passed away. After the passing of Cheryl, Michael was reunited during Christmas of 2019 with his high school sweet heart Barbara Beth Jordan. Michael and Beth were married on March 17, 2024 at their home in Calumet, Michigan.
Michael loved riding and working on his Harley, he also loved working the demolition derby at Houghton Co. Fair, walleye fishing, fishing tournaments, deer hunting, camping with family, and telling stories. Micheal loved his best friend Jasper a bulldog mix that he rescued.
Michael is preceded in death by his late wife Cheryl Pavloski, his parents Michael and Darlene Pavloski, and his baby sister Robin Pavloski.
Michael is survived by his wife Barbara Beth Pavloski, brother Dan (Kathy) Pavloski, their children Brandon, Chadd & Easton. Sister Cindy (Larry) Asiala, their children, Heather (Joe) Rodgers, Nicole (Mike) Hubble, & Brooke (Damien) Goulette. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
