Rosalie May Taucher

Ro graduated from Hancock High School in 1969. After graduating she worked as a CNA, LPN and earned a R.N. degree. Ro worked and enjoyed her career in health care for 35 years. She was a proud resident of Crystal Falls, MI where she lived. Ro’s passion in life were her animals and caring for them. She had many animals through the years that included, horses, dogs and cats, they were all loved and very important to her. Ro always talked about how much she loved where she lived and how peaceful it was. She enjoyed watching all the wildlife, especially all the deer that would come into her yard. She had many special friends in Crystal Falls and will be missed dearly.

Ro was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Tristan.

She is survived by her brother, Frank (Susie) Taucher of Hancock, sisters, Judi (Bill) Sleeman of Houghton, Marilyn (Paul) Heinonen of Hancock, Sandi (Arnold Goossen) Taucher of Plover, WI. Also nieces and nephews, Frank, Michelle and Kiley Taucher, Lori and Pierre Bouchard, Terry and (late Patrick) Matlock and Troy Taucher, Tami Sleeman, Traci Sleeman-Houle and son’s Logan, Tristan, Jaedan and Gunner, Tony and Jenni Sleeman, Paul, Julie, Drew and Abbey Heinonen, Kristie Heinonen, Randy and Kristy Heinonen, Delany, Peyton and Lenna Anderson, and Sophie and Ellie Heinonen survive.

Ro will be missed by her family, friends and her special goldendoodle puppies, Abby and Tahney.

As requested by Ro a private service will be held in the spring at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton, MI.
