Frances (Fran) Agnes Hoffmann

HANCOCK — Frances (Fran) Agnes Hoffmann, 87, of Hancock, died peacefully at her home on September 29, 2017, with family at her side.
Preceded in death by her husband, William (Phil) Hoffmann; and parents, Anton and Frances Suppelsa.
Survived by her six children; daughter, Mary Gniech of Jacksonville, Florida, her son, James Gniech; son, Bill and Gail Hoffmann of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, their children, Matthew (Katrina) Hoffmann, Gina (Jon) Rhyner; son, Tom and Diana Hoffmann of Moline, Illinois, their children, Ryan (Breanna) Hoffmann, Eric Sheldon, Brittany (Matt) Hoffmann-Eubanks, Kevin (Tanja) Hoffmann; daughter, Liz (Jim) Campbell of Greenfield, Wisconsin, their children, Eric (Sarah) Campbell, Ellen (Adam) Campbell- Kaniewski; daughter, Ann (Alan) Wakeman of Indianapolis, Indiana, their children, Juli Wakeman, Kimberly Wakeman; daughter, Patti (Mike) Parli of Mokena, Illinois, their children, Susan (Scott) Bengtson, Michael Parli; great-grandchildren, Lily, Connor, Damon, Sarah, Katelyn, Christian, Janelle, Wyland; siblings, Eugene (Nancy) Supplesa, Dolores Charroux, Tony (Sharon) Suppelsa; many beloved nieces and nephews.
Fran graduated from Sacred Heart School; she worked for Metropolitan Life, Kroger Grocery Store, Central Bank and retired from Windy City South Truck-stop in Monee, Illinois. She spent her summers at her lake house in Hancock, and her winters in Florida with her brother, Tony and sister-in-law, Sharon. She loved to travel, do counted cross stich, read, crossword puzzles, bar trivia and had the gift of gab.
Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2017, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Prayer service to follow at Ryan Funeral Home in Calumet. A church service will be Saturday, October 14, 2017, 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Calumet.
