John Vander Velde named Chief Information Officer at Superior National Bank
Superior National Bank and Trust continues to advance its expertise in technology and information systems. The bank is proud to name John Vander Velde as Chief Information Officer to lead Superior National’s information technology efforts for its growing network of banking locations in Upper Michigan and Southeast Michigan.
Vander Velde has 24 years of experience leading information technology processes and systems in banking, enterprise software and venture capital. He has served as North American IT Manager for Cordys Business Operations, CIO for The Bank of Holland, Michigan and The Bank of Northern Michigan in Petoskey and Director of Business Systems for Chemical/TCF Bank. Vander Velde is a recognized expert in Banking Technologies and an award-winning systems conversion program manager.
