MEDC, SBDC hosting briefing Friday for businesses impacted by warm winter
HOUGHTON — This year’s extremely mild winter weather has profoundly impacted many small businesses across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. In order to share information about resources that are available to support and assist negatively impacted businesses, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Michigan Small Business Development Center will be hosting a community briefing in Houghton on Friday.
During the briefing, businesses will learn more details about MEDC Small Business Resources, U.P. Small Business Development Center, U.P. Michigan Works! talent solutions, and the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
Friday’s briefing will start at 11:30 a.m. in the community room of the Lakeshore Center at 600 E. Lakeshore Drive in Houghton. No RSVP is required.
