HOUGHTON — Snow, speed and next-level tricks are in store this Valentine’s weekend. It’s time once again for the Keweenaw to share in the energy and excitement of Jibba Jabba, Houghton’s most electrifying snowboard showdown.

On Saturday, Huron Street, in downtown Houghton, will transform into a world-class urban snow park where more than 25 riders will send it for glory, bragging rights, and nearly $2,000 in cash prizes.

With two chances to win in both men’s and women’s divisions, the competition will be fierce, fast and full throttle.

The energy isn’t limited to the track. Red Bull is fueling the night with free energy drinks, high-voltage beats, and the legendary Ryan Paul on the mic.

New this year: Red Bull’s “Best Stomp” award, throwing down an extra $750 for the “sickest” male and female landings of thenight.

Bundle up, grab a spot, and get loud as riders break in fresh snow and throw down jaw-dropping tricks under city lights.

Line the course from the Suomi Restaurant to the Houghton Waterfront Pier and witness the best of the Midwest take flight.
