Gitzen Company has taken another step in further services it offers in recent months. The company has added multiple new variants of products for Copper Country businesses since its sale to BJ Jollimore in 2017 which include items such as cleaning equipment, vaping items and even their own branded cleaning chemicals. Recently, Gitzen has found a way to accommodate requests that its customers have been making over the years.

While the locally known brand has provided its services to locally owned businesses and other settings such as bars, gas stations, convenience stores, schools and hospitals, Gitzen is selling its products and now delivering them to customers’ homes directly.

“With all of our corporate competitors in the area, Walmart now doing home service, home delivery, and Amazon taking over the world, it’s just the way that the newer generation purchases products,” company President BJ Jollimore said.

Customers can go online and fill their shopping cart on the site and have a plethora of products ranging from janitorial items, paper products, snacks and tobacco products delivered to their door. Tobacco products require proof of age from customers, but otherwise private citizens will have access to Gitzen’s selection as long as their address is within 15 miles of Copper Country’s major highways.

Jollimore said that he wishes for Gitzen to continue to be the biggest provider for the region for basic products, especially given its 100 plus year history with the Copper Country. He believes that where Gitzen provides better quality service compared to big corporate entities is personal interactions.

“We pride ourselves on having the best customer service that the industry has to offer,” he said. “So, a customer runs out of something on a Tuesday night, and they have an event Tuesday night, they can call us, and most likely, I’ll just take it over to them.”

Jollimore also said that despite competing with entities such as Walmart and Amazon, Gitzen is able to keep prices competitive. The new company website can be found at gitzencompany.com where their services can be utilized.

Starting at $2.99/week.
