WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Lillian Merle (Dodge) Fisher, 99, of Waynesboro, PA, formerly of Washington, D.C. and Frederick, Md., entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 26, 2014. She was the widow of Frank Lyman Fisher.
Born February 26, 1914, in Painesdale, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Ida M. (Epley) Dodge.
Lillian attended Hancock High School in Hancock, and was proud of her Cornish heritage and her roots in the Michigan Copper Country. She belonged to the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, James D. Fisher of Waynesboro, Pa.; Thomas F. Fisher of Numidia, Pa.; and Timothy D. Fisher of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Debbie Williers, Melissa Volkmann, Becky Schimmel, and Susan Fisher; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Dora (Polglaise) Dodge.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
