HOUGHTON - A former volunteer with the Houghton High School hockey team waived his circuit court arraignment on criminal sexual conduct charges Wednesday.

Bradley Aldrich, 30, of Hancock, is charged with one count of third-degree CSC with a student at least 16 but less than 18, a 15-year felony, and fourth-degree CSC with a student at least 16 but less than 18, a high-court misdemeanor.

Aldrich stood mute on the charges, which is treated as a not guilty plea.

The charges are alleged to stem from an incident in March.

Aldrich is expected to have a pretrial hearing in approximately 45 days.
