HOUGHTON - Michigan Tech wrapped up its 2013 fall women's tennis season with a 7-2 victory over Lake Superior State Sunday. The Huskies finished their GLIAC campaign with a 5-9 record - tied for ninth of 15 teams in the league.
Tech claimed five of the six singles flights and two of three doubles matches to get a third straight win.
Kwang Suthijindawong polished off an undefeated dual match season with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles. She is 13-0 in team matches and 15-1 overall in singles in 2013. Over the last two seasons, Suthijindawong has amassed a 34-2 mark.
No. 1 singles player Natalia Lebedeva has also had tremendous success this season. The senior cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory today to improve to 13-3 overall this season and 60-17 in her career.
Emilia Tenizbaeva, Audrey Hutton and Kat Donovan were also victorious for the Huskies at Nos. 4, 5 and 6 singles, respectively.
After a couple matches playing with different partners, Lebedeva and Suthijindawong were reunited at No. 1 doubles. They played to an 8-1 victory. Audrey Hutton and Emilia Tenizbaeva claimed an 8-2 triumph at No. 3 doubles.

Michigan Tech has concluded its 2013 fall season. The squad will resume play in the spring.
