LL-H sportsmen say thank you

July 3, 2013
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

The Lake Linden-Hubbell Sportsmen's Association would like to thank all of the businesses in Calumet, Copper Harbor, Hancock, Houghton, Hubbell, Lake Linden, Laurium, Mohawk and points in between for their generous donations which enabled us to have a successful 40th Rice Lake Fishing Derby.

The Keweenaw deer that we help feed with the Derby proceeds also thank you. Your past support ensured their survival from this year's horribly long winter. Your help this year will allow us to continue our feeding program next winter. Also, our sincere appreciation to all our supportive community members who faithfully attend our Derby each summer.

David Saxton,

President

Lake Linden
