To the editor:
I just came from Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton only to find that my white wrought iron planter was missing and the flowers were left on the ground in front of my parents head stone. I was absolutely devastated to think anyone would do this especially in a place out of respect for the deceased. This planter was about approximately 8 inches wide by 20 inches long and had solid short legs. I have had this on my parents grave for over 40 summers. If you know of anyone that might have taken my planter which has great sentimental value to me, would you please ask them to return it to the grave where they found it or leave it at the cemetery maintenance building. No questions asked. Thank you.
