To the editor:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hancock High School National Honor Society for the food drive they recently conducted for the Salvation Army. After a hard winter, our food pantry was desperately in need of these donations. This food drive certainly helped fill this void. Their time and efforts are truly appreciated.
Every one worked hard but we would like to say a special thank you to Brian for organizing the drive, Jason for heading up the sorting of the food at a time when we were particularly short handed and John for carrying all the heavy crates downstairs.
Of course we can't forget to thank all those in our generous community who donated the food. It couldn't have been done without you.
God Bless all these donors and volunteers for their efforts and hard work.
Major Mark Brown
