SOUTH RANGE - An Arctic Cat demo ride of the 2014 snowmobile models will be held at the Wildlife Refuge Cabins March 21 through 31.

According to Wildlife Refuge Cabins owner Lori Sleeman, Arctic Cat tours the nation when new sleds come out. This is the second time it has provided sled demos at Wildlife Refuge.

"They basically tour the nation when the new sleds come out," Sleeman said.

Shown above are sleds from the Arctic Cat 2013 model line. The 2014 models will be available for demo riding March 21 through the 31 at the Wildlife Refuge Cabins.

While all models won't be available, Sleeman said the most popular models will be.

Sleeman said pre-registration is preferred to get people out on the sleds, which is available at wildliferefuge.com.

"That way all the paperwork is taken care of in advance," Sleeman said.

But walks-in will also be accepted.

"I don't think that becomes an issue because they usually have representatives here at all times," she said.

During the days of the event, riding will be available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Sleeman is happy to host the event as it brings in business and is great exposure.

"It works out nice," she said.

While models won't be available to purchase at the demo, they will be available through local dealers.

Sleeman added that Arctic Cat is always welcome to come to their business to demonstrate their models.
