FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Michigan Tech Nordic skier Kyle Hanson posted a pair of top-25 finishes at the 2013 US Junior National Championships.
The Fairbanks, Alaska, native was part of the Alaska region team that finished fifth in a time of 29:09 in the classic relay. He posted a 24th place finish in the 10-kilometer freestyle race in 27:56.
Thomas Kendrick and Sam Holmes were each members of the Great Lakes region team that finished 18th in the classic relay in a time of 31:04.
Kendrick finished 33rd (28:14) in the 10-kilometer freestyle and Sam Holmes was 80th (29:35).
Ruth Oppliger was member of the Great Lakes region team that finished ninth in the classic relay (36:37). She finished 95th in the five-kilometer freestyle (18:17).
