Opposes Boy Scout proposal

March 9, 2013
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

Isaiah 5:20, Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.

This is where we are. When God says Woe, we had better pay attention. If all of us who live our lives to please God do nothing, we will soon find a country far different than we grew up in.

Right now, the Board of Directors of The Boy Scouts of America are going to decide whether to allow homosexuals as scouts and leaders. We can't let this happen.

Twenty or more years ago I sat next to the director of the scouts on an airplane. He talked about this war which was going on then and said "It will never happen on my watch."

The homosexuals have been beating their drums and are not about to quit unless you in this beautiful Copper Country wake up and go to war.

It is amazing that what was a crime in our society, and always an abomination to God, is now pride. Remember, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and only saved Noah in the flood because of this sin. We are on very thin ice condoning this behavior. You can make a difference. Write to the Chief Scout Executive, Robert J. Mazzuca at 1325 West Walnut Lane P.O. Box 152079, Irving Texas 75015 and to Chair of the Board Rex W. Tillerson at the same address.

This letter will go to thousands of readers thanks to the Mining Gazette. Make your voice heard.
