Snyder not for lower taxes

February 28, 2013
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder ran as an anti-tax, small government conservative. What a lie! As most people file their state tax returns, they now realize that they will be paying between $500 and $1,000 in higher state taxes. But, fortunately, if you are a big corporation, you get a tax cut.

Republicans are for lower taxes? If you believe that, you are a fool. And if this guy gets his way, he plans to increase taxes on gas and even raise taxes on our vehicle registration fees. For everyone who loves high taxes and voted for Governor Snyder, you deserve what you got.
