TRENTON, Mich. - Calumet took a lead into the last 10 minutes of Friday's game against host Trenton at the MIHL?Showcase, but the Trojans scored twice in a 2:34 span to take the game 3-2.
Brendan Jacques had both Calumet goals, putting the Copper Kings up with a first-period tally, then making it 2-1 at the 2:17 mark of the third.
Justin Dunn and Bradley Teska scored at 10:10 and 12:44 of the third.
Troy Pierce stopped 35 shots in defeat for Calumet, which plays Wyandotte today.
