November 24, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

The Kiwanis Club of the Copper Country would like to thank the following sponsors for supporting our pancake breakfast Nov. 10 at Houghton Elementary School: Memorial Chapel/Plowe Funeral Home, Subway of Houghton and Calumet, Houghton Elementary School, The Bluffs Senior Living Community, Vollwerth's, Michigan Technological University Wadsworth Hall, Jilbert's Dairy and Upper Peninsula Power Co.

In addition, the following individuals deserve mention: Paul Schuster at Houghton High School, Jack Swift, Circle K, pre-health and Theta Chi Epsilon at Michigan Tech and Key Club at Houghton High School.

Thank you also to everyone who sold or bought a ticket, purchased baked goods at the event, volunteered their time for this event, made a donation and to anyone who we have inadvertently forgotten.

Our fundraising efforts to help families and children in the Copper Country could not succeed without the support of a very generous community and we are thankful for all of you.
