SOUTH RANGE - Gwen Elizabeth Storm and Daniel William Kilpela were married June 16, 2012, at the South Range Apostolic Lutheran Church.
The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Travis Seppala.
The bride, daughter of Phillip and Mary Storm of Laurium, and groom, son of Don and Marja Kilpela of Atlantic Mine, met at Michigan Tech in 2002.
Jill Kangas, Sarah Veenstra, Sally Rowley (friends of the bride) and Sarah Storm, Eva Loyd, Jennifer Seppanen, Abby Storm and Alisa Storm (sisters of the bride) were bridesmaids.
The best man was Owen Edwards. Dan Veale, David Jukuri, Aaron Carriere (friends of the groom) and Mikael Kilpela, Samuel Kilpela, David Kilpela and Jonathan Kilpela (brothers of the groom) were groomsmen. Todd Storm (brother of the bride) and Reid Felsing (brother-in-law of the bride) were ushers.
Emily Storm and Jaden Loyd (nieces of the bride) were flower girls.

Following a reception at the Brownstone Hall, the couple honeymooned in northern California.
The bride works as an infant mental health therapist for Ionia County. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work.
The groom teaches physics at Spring Lake High School. He is a graduate of Michigan Tech University. The couple resides in Grand Rapids.
