To the editor:
The Life Outreach Center would like to publicly thank the walkers, runners, volunteers and children who participated in our Run for Their Lives fundraiser event on June 9 along the Houghton waterfront. We had 84 participants and raised $2461.40 to continue our mission to provide pregnancy and parenting support, post-abortion support and resources to promote healthy relationships.
We would also like to thank the following supporters for their donation of services and items which made our event successful: The Houghton City Police, Econo Foods, Roy's Bakery, WalMart, Pat's IGA of Calumet, Down Wind Sports, McDonald's, MTU Dining Services, Keweenaw Aspirus Fitness Center, The Lunch Bag and Range Hair Care.
