Ladybug Digital offers one-stop shopping

HANCOCK - Ladybug Digital can offer customers a one-stop shop for their photography, graphics and printing needs.
Ladybug Digital has been at its new location on Quincy Street since Sept. 2.
It came there from a location on Elevation Street, and before that, the Lily Jutila Center at Finlandia University.
The business does photography, commercial graphic design and large-format printing.
With 15 years of digital imaging, Jon Chynoweth had retired from previous jobs, and decided to open up a full-time business.
On top of that, he said, he felt a need in the local area to bring all the services under one roof.
"Before we opened, a lot of local photographers would send away for their prints ... a lot of commercial places would have theirs done out of the area. Since we can do it under one roof, we can do it locally."
The business has large format printing, which can range from 8-by-10 to upwards of 44-by-96. Materials include everything from vinyl to canvas.
The custom photography side includes electronic image displays for business, where flat-panel HDTVs can show a continuous loop of hundreds of themed images.
In graphic design, Ladybug's work includes signs, billboards, banners and advice on branding and marketing.
"We do very good work at very fair pricing," Chynoweth said.
Ladybug Digital is located in the Scott Hotel building at 101 E. Quincy St. #1. For more information, call 482-7800.
