Midwest Regional schedule changed
HOUGHTON — Due to unforeseen travel issues that prevented the University of Findlay from arriving in Houghton Thursday, the schedule for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Midwest Regional has been changed by the NCAA. Tonight’s fourth quarterfinal game between the Oilers and Wisconsin-Parkside has been moved to Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m., meaning that the semifinal games will be played a day later (Sunday). The times of those games have been moved up, with the first semifinal to be played at 1:30 between the Drury/Southern Indiana and Indianapolis/Northern Michigan winners and the second semifinal to be at 4 p.m. between the Michigan Tech/Northern Kentucky and Findlay/Parkside winners. The championship game will now be Tuesday at 6 p.m. The other three quarterfinal games that were planned for today will be played as originally scheduled.
