KLT Sustainable Forestry Outing

Announcing the next in our series of KLT Outings:
Simi Sustainable Forestry Conservation Easement tour on Saturday, August 8, 1 p.m.
Learn about sustainable forestry at an actively managed KLT conservation easement. Landowner Erwin Simi and others will share his experience of managing his land sustainably and setting up a conservation easement as you walk through this 260-acre sustainably managed forest site, KLT's first conservation easement. Meet at the Simi's house.
Directions: Take U.S. 41S to M-38 and travel west about 15 miles to Nisula. Continue on M-38 for another 1.5 miles past Nisula to White Siding Road - on the left. Turn left on White Siding Road and travel about 1 mile to #23709 - a farmhouse on the Right. (White Siding Road jogs sharply right and left in that mile).
