A+ Tech

July 19, 2012 - Michael Bleach
Shockingly, I know, it appears that the Michigan Tech women’s basketball team is wicked smart.

Per a press release from the Tech athletic department, the women’s team as a whole earned the Academic Honor Roll achievement with a cumulative grade point average of 3.547. It is the sixth straight season the Tech women have earned the award.

“I am so proud of every player we have for individually doing their part to earn this team award,” said head coach Kim Cameron. “The ability to succeed at balancing the demands of their academic and athletic schedules is truly remarkable. We are fortunate to have such great student-athletes here.”

This falls right in line with the Tech recruting pitch — enjoy academics, enjoy winter, enjoy winning.
